The seeds of Oregano go all the way back to the mid-1900s when Siegfried, a German chef from Cologne, discovered the sun-drenched shores of Liguria — and never looked back. Today, that same passion for authentic Ligurian cuisine lives in every dish we craft, every table we set, and every guest we welcome.

Maurizio grew up tasting masterpieces his parents called "everyday food." Years later, a chance meeting with Tony — a Hotel Management graduate with a passion for cooking — and George, a sharp businessman, turned those childhood flavours into a culinary movement.
Together, they opened a small restaurant in Dubai serving Ligurian-inspired cuisine. The passion was contagious. Today, Oregano boasts 12 restaurants in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi — with an international franchise model and a dream to one day open in Liguria, where the journey truly started.
